"Napule" Spaghetti with Birra Antoniana Marechiaro


To celebrate our Birra Antoniana Marechiaro, dedicated to Naples, we found inspiration in Giovanni Gallo, chef and owner of the "Il Pescatore" restaurant. He has started to apply the big potential of our new beer in the Neapolitan culinary tradition.

He has created for us a new dish: "Spaghetti alla chitarra con cozze, calamari, emulsione di Birra Antoniana Marechiaro e sbriciolata di tarallo" ( Home- made Spaghetti with mussels, squids, Marechiaro emulsion and crumbled taralli). Here's the recipe:

Ingredients for 4 people: 

Squids 200 g  

Shelled mussels 200 g 

Tarallo 1

Spaghetti 320 g 

Birra Antoniana Marechiaro 1 glass

Chilli 1 

Salt and pepper q.s.


Cut the squids in the classic style de julienne and soak them in a glass of Birra Antoniana Marechiaro.

In a pan, brown garlik together with oil and pepper, add shelled mussels and finally blend with Birra Antoniana Marechiaro.

In the sauce thus obtained, pour the pasta previously drained and stir-fry with some raw squids. 

Complete the dish with oil, pepper and crumbled taralli.

A drink to match? Of course Birra Antoniana Marechiaro!
